Egyptian law strictly regulates the tourism industry. For any transport (bus or yacht) to get permission to leave, organizers must obtain police and military approval daily. Without a tourism license, this is impossible. That’s why for some tours we may need copies of your passports or vouchers. This applies mainly to boat trips in Hurghada, as well as private and certain group tours that involve leaving the city. For other tours, a group permit is sufficient, and your passport details are not required.

Your Insurance Is Valid Some hotel guides may claim that insurance does not cover tours booked through third-party companies. This is not true. Your travel insurance purchased for your trip to Egypt is valid throughout the entire country, regardless of who organizes your leisure activities. In addition, any official tour operator bears full insurance responsibility for passengers during the trip — whether on a bus or a boat. Otherwise, they simply wouldn’t receive the required permit to conduct the tour.

We often remind our guests how important it is not to forget anything after the tour. Unfortunately, if you do leave something behind, it can be quite difficult to get it back since all transport goes straight for cleaning, and logistics in Egypt have their own specifics. Of course, we always try to help find lost items, but we cannot guarantee 100% success. If the item is found, delivery will cost $5–10. Please be attentive and make sure you have all your belongings with you before leaving.

We receive many bookings, so most of our excursions run daily or on a strict schedule. We will inform you of the exact departure time from your hotel right after booking. Often, you will join excursions in small groups that may include tourists who booked through other operators. The only difference is that our price is 40–60% lower.
