Egyptian laws strictly regulate the tourism industry. For any transport (bus or yacht) to get permission to depart, organizers must obtain daily approval from the police and military. Without a tourism license, this is impossible. That’s why for some excursions we may need copies of your passports or vouchers — mainly for boat trips in Hurghada, as well as private and some group tours outside the city. For other excursions, only group permission is required, and no passport details are needed. ✅

Your insurance is valid 🛡️ Some hotel guides may say that insurance doesn’t cover excursions bought from other companies — but that’s not true. Your travel insurance for Egypt is valid throughout the entire country, no matter who organizes your leisure activities. In addition, any official tour operator is fully responsible for passenger insurance during the trip, whether on a bus or a boat. Without this, they simply wouldn’t get the required permit to run the excursion. ✅

We often remind tourists that it’s very important not to forget anything after the excursions. Unfortunately, if you leave something behind, it can be quite difficult to get it back — all the transport goes straight for cleaning, and Egyptian logistics can be tricky. Of course, we always try to help find lost items, but we cannot guarantee 100% success. If the item is found, delivery will cost $5–10. Please be careful and don’t forget your belongings. 🎒
